After such a interesting DIY acoustic panels project I back to my sewing machine yesterday to make lovely pillow case. I know, that I did a few already, but they (the pillow cases) seems to be a good practice patterns for not experienced sewing person like me :)
This pillow case was properly measured (like no any one before!) and – believe me – stitches are mostly straight, neat and not so messy any more. As you see I even sew at the bottom of this pillow case lovely lace trim. I sew it layered between two sheets of material, so it is sewed insight not outside. It was something I never did before, so… I just love it! Couple of other lace trims but this time sewed outside.
Ah, and the lovely ribbons and clever (do you this that is clever or is just me being over the top?) lace going down to tied with bottom lace to lovely ribbon number two. Be prepared for more pillow cases as I’m going to do another one soon. New idea, different materials and some of my crochet doilies involve in it.
Have a lovely Sunday
ps. this one is not recycled material. I bought it few weeks ago:)
